Logos are trademarks The logos provided here are intended solely for use by British car clubs in celebrating their favourite marques in their newsletters, regalia, web sites and documents. Even though many of the companies for which logos are presented here are now defunct, the logo is nevertheless owned by some entity and remains its property. Trademarks are protected by laws that vary from country to country and so clubs using any of those provided here should satisfy themselves about the legality of their intended use. They are offered here under United States fair use provisions, there being no implication by which a viewer could infer that this site is part of, or sponsored by, the trademark owner. Some of the images provided are vector graphics, a format in which high resolution is preserved even when it is radically resized. There is an opinion that images posted on web sites of trademarks should be low resolution only, low resolution being a term that is incompatible with vector graphics. However, all the vector graphics are traced versions of bit-mapped images and as such can be said to be only medium, if not low, fidelity versions of the true trademark. They are nevertheless considered accurate enough for the purposes of a car club. File Descriptions The logos are presented in various file formats and some are also included in a True Type font.
